ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY
G. N. M Diploma Programs
1. Age for entrance shall be 17 years to
35 years. For ANM / LHV age no bar. A.N.
M & LHV' s may undergo this course
provided they meet eligibility
requirements.
2. Minimum Education :- candidate should
have passed XII class or its equivalent,
preferably with science subjects.
3. Admission process starts from 1st of
June of every year
B.Sc. (N) Basic
1. Age for admission candidate should
completed 7years of age at the time of
admission or will complete this age on
or before 31st December of the year of
admission.
2. Candidate should have passed XII
class of any state board approved by
RGUHS, Bangalore, with minimum of 45%
aggregate marks in physics, chemistry
and biology
Note: Candidates seeking
admission from out side states, NRI's
and Foreign National should obtain
eligibility certificate from RGUHS
Bangalore.
Post Certificate B.Sc. (N)
1. Candidate should have passed 3 years
of GNM Course (Diploma Programme) from
recognized Institute. In case of male
candidates, he should have passed
Psychiatry Nursing or O.T. Technique
Course or any other course approved by
respective state nursing council in lieu
of midwifery.
2. Candidate should register himself /
herself to Karnataka Nursing Council,
Bangalore, while seeking admission to
the course.
3. Candidate should have minimum two
years of experience.
4. Out state candidates, NRI's Foreign
Nationals should submit eligibility
certificate from RGUHS,
Bangalore, at the time of admission.
M.Sc. (Nursing)
1. Candidate should have passed 4 year
of B.Sc. (N) with two year of experience
or 2 years of Post Certificate of B.Sc.
(Nursing) from recognized university,
with 55% of marks in aggregate.
2. Candidate should register himself /
herself to Karnataka Nursing Council.
While seeking admission to the course.
3. Out state candidates, NRI's Foreign
National should submit eligibility
certificate from RGUHS, Bangalore at the
time of admission.
